Leonila “Nila” Macedo Melvin, 64, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, in Sheridan, WY at her residence. She was born on July 18, 1959.
Nila immigrated to the U.S.A. twenty-four years ago. She married Paul Melvin. “Nila” has two children in Spain, Alex and Daniel, two in Peru, Foster and Rudolfo, and one daughter Rosa Freeman, and son Israel Melvin in Sheridan, WY.
Nila was a good and loving daughter to her mother devoted mother to her children, and sister to her family.
Nila was so talented and loved dancing, she was a showoff! She could imitate any person or mannerism; sorry you didn’t know that. She loved playing bingo, cooking, dressing up, hugging everyone and laughing. Nila loved being at home and around the house and was busy with Latino music playing.
A Memorial Service for Nila is at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Knights of Columbus.

so sad to hear this Paul. I know you have to miss her bubbly, fun personality. I was thinking about her a while back when I saw someone who I thought was her. I walked up closer and realized it was not Nila. She will keep everyone in heaven dancing and laughing!
