Senator Lummis Discusses President Biden’s Vaccine Mandate
On September 8, President Joe Biden announced a vaccine mandate for Americans who work at companies with more than 100 employees. This mandate would force 80 million private sector employees to get vaccinated or comply with weekly testing, in addition to the existing mandates on millions of federal workers and contractors. On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate voted to repeal the mandate on private employers. Senator Cynthia Lummis (WY-R) voted in favor of the bill to repeal the mandate.
Lummis said businesses are already facing labor shortages, and families are faced with higher prices for everyday necessities, and this vaccine mandate only exacerbates those issues. The mandate repeal will now go to the House of Representatives for a vote.

Lack of common sense has caused 800,000 deaths from this Covid disease and these right wing clowns are pushing for more dumb decisions.People who elect these clowns are no better than they are…you reap what you sow. Priceless.

The choice to get vaccinated is a personal one. The vaccination DOES NOT stop the spread of a virus. If you want to get vaccinated, do it. If you don’t, don’t. The choice any one person makes DOES NOT effect anyone else. So why should the government mandate it? Why does a healthy person who beat covid need to be vaccinated? This is a virus, that EVERYONE will get. There is no avoiding it. The defense any one person uses should be a personal choice, not the governments. I look forward to your direct answers to my questions.

Why do you think the virus continues to mutate ? Your choice potentially effects everyone including my grandchildren. Please stop doing stupid.

Please explain, in great detail, how someone choosing to not get vaccinated, is making the virus mutate. Also, please explain what the exact “effect” your grandchildren will endure. I will be anxiously waiting for your reply, as well as many others.

This is a prime example of malfeasance by elected officials in Washington…schools across the USA already mandate and require vaccinations (MMR vaccination) mumps, measles, rubella…(DPT vaccination) diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus plus hepatitis B…so it may be those school vaccine mandates will set a precedent for the supreme court to base their decision for a federal vaccine mandate especially in the event of public health pandemics or a war time crises…it’s a matter of national security…it’s a matter of malfeasance

How many of those trusted vaccines you mentioned are of the mRNA variety?

…wake up non-vaccinated people…this is an endemic/pandemic…the entire USA still has a very long way to go before reaching immunity…there is no herd immunity as of yet which will eventually prevent hospitalization sickness and death…Michigan GOP Republican William Hartmann (age 63) who denounced vaccination died yesterday…just another example of the the consequences

Why does the CDC recommend masks for the fully vaccinated?

Because we still have airbags even if we have seat belts. Just because a system isn’t perfect doesn’t mean it’s useless. Please loosen the band on your tinfoil hat.

Not sure which pseudo-socialist state you are writing from or relocated from, but this isn’t polio. It’s a virus that got out of a lab in China, neither accidently or intentionally…and that in itself should make people wary. Flu shots were never “mandatory”.. even with some pretty nasty strains. People in WY don’t like to have things shoved down their throat. I believe that fatality is rate, which includes all people who died WITH covid, not just OF covid, is less than 1% in the US and the vast majority are elderly or have underlying health issues that would make them at risk for serious illness with the flu. If you think gun control, masks, regulation vs common sense, and litigation vs personal accountability are good things, you’re in the wrong place.

I”ve been here for 50 years, odds are I have more guns than you do and I wear a mask because civic responsibility is my choice- not something that someone shoved down my throat. If you really believed in common sense you’d do what has been proven to reduce the deaths (nearly 3/4 of a million- 20% of the world total with 5% of the population) get vaxxed, get masked and accept personal accountability.

Fascism has no place in America, none whatsoever at all. But speaking of vaccine mandates its interesting that some of the people on bidens farm are more equal than others: Bidens cabinet and staff: EXEMPT; members of congress: EXEMPT; the CDC: EXEMPT; folks in the US illegally: EXEMPT. If its the proper thing for the hoi polloi, why not the politburo?

Ooops, Tommy. Are you purposely being misleading or didn’t do a fact check on information before posting? Your stellar credibility hangs in the balance for some.

Sorry, denny, I cant post links for some reason, but google is your friend! Just an example: “The New York Times reported on Thursday that the executive order doesn’t apply to those who work for Congress or the federal courts, citing White House officials.” You can figure the rest out. Enjoy!

OK Tommy, purposely misleading then. Suits your purpose to gin up the dim “Biden is all hypocrisy crowd”. You’d make a good politician – don’t mind the whole facts, just get worked up. Its not a real discussion.

Yet again this is another example of the deceitful GOP placating dumb Trumpian Americans in order to get their votes. Unfortunately, the dumb are now dying. If you do not have a medical reason barring you from being vaccinated and you are choosing not to be vaccinated then you are dumb. This results in the rest of the vaccinated world having a front row seat watching Darwinian evolutionary theory i.e. survival of the fittest play out in real time.
