Hunters: Create your Game and Fish user account

While hunting applications don’t open until Jan.3, planning for 2022 hunting applications sooner rather than later is the best course. The first step — make sure to have a Wyoming Game and Fish Department user account. Anyone who wants to make a purchase or apply for a license from the Game and Fish will be required to create a username and password

Creating a username and password is a simple process much like on other websites. To help, Game and Fish has created a video with each step of the process for current customers who have made purchases or applications in the past as well as a video for brand new customers with no purchase history. Step-by-step written instructions are also available.

The Game and Fish user account serves as a dashboard for information specific to the customer. Each customer will need to create their own user account. For returning customers, it will automatically link previous account information.

“Anyone who needs extra help can call our telephone information center at (307) 777-4600 and talk to a person who can guide them through this change,” Jennifer Doering, license section manager said.

For hunters who created an account for a previous application, now is a good time to make sure you remember your username and password.

“If you only log in a few times a year, it’s easy to forget your username or password. Make sure you can access your account easily before you are up against an application deadline,” Doering said.

Hunting applications for elk, deer and antelope open Jan. 3 for both resident and nonresident hunters. The first deadline is for nonresident elk on Jan. 31.
