Liquor License Transfer Approved

A transfer of ownership of a retail liquor license from Little Goose Liquor to 307 Horse Racing was approved by the Sheridan City Council Monday night by a vote of 5 to 2. As part of their business plan, 307 Horse Racing intends to offer pari-mutuel wagering and serve alcohol on site. Councilors Shawn Day and Kristen Jennings voted against the liquor license transfer. Jennings explained why she opposed the transfer.

Other business from the Council meeting included the approval of the streets division and engineering departments assistance with the skijoring event that’s scheduled for February 19 and approval of a resolution for the Burton Flats final plat.
