Low DUI Numbers Reported in SC Over Holiday

The Wyoming Highway Patrol, the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Sheridan Police Department teamed up over the long New Year’s Holiday to conduct a county-wide Impaired Driving Enforcement Operation. Patrol Captain Jason Green said that no fatalities were reported in the County and less than 10 DUIs were issued. 

Between the 3 agencies, 184 vehicles were stopped and 7 impaired drivers were arrested over the 6 day collaboration. The next planned multi agency operation is planned around the upcoming Super Bowl weekend.
