Ron RichterA tour of the North Main area of Sheridan is on the calendar for city officials next week. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The North Main Association will be hosting a bus tour of the North Main area next Wednesday for the Mayor, members of the City Council and City Council candidates. North Main Association Executive Director Nancy Drummond says the tour will showcase all of the things that have happened in the North Main area over the past few years, including the new bus stops and new housing, among other things.
Drummond said that the bus tour will begin at the Hub on Smith in Sheridan at 4 pm Wednesday, September 23.

How about some grocery stores or some type of useful things other than street lights on that end?

Don’t give them any ideas! Next thing you know they will offer a tax break to get another chain store here that the mom and pop stores can’t compete with. I bet a Whole Foods would put in a great deal of effort and take a loss for years just to quash the local farmers market.

I feel sorry for that end since the redo. Seems like business is down on that end except for the truck stop/liquor store. What a waste, i wonder what new sculpture or sign the new 6×6 concrete abutments will hold? Probably proclaiming welcome to “Fort BozeSheridan”

Good to see things happen at that end of town. Impressive to see people come together to create a positive impact on their community
