Public Health Performed Contact Tracing Concerning Pool Employee

The Johnson County Public Health Office and the Wyoming Department of Health Epidemiology have conducted contact tracing concerning the city pool employee that was determined to be “presumptively positive” for COVID-19.
An official statement released by Johnson County Public Health late last week said that contact tracing had been completed.
In the release, public health said those identified as having a high exposure risk have been quarantined.
For those that feel they have had a higher risk of exposure to COVID-19 is asked to self-quarantine for 14 days past the last exposure, practice social distancing, avoid high risk individuals, and monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
If symptoms do arise, contact local testing facilities to be tested.
They also ask the public to continue to be vigilant and practice all appropriate hygiene and distancing recommendations, including wearing a face covering when it is impossible avoid being within six feet of others.
Johnson County so far has had 18 lab confirmed COVID-19 cases, 4 probable cases, 21 recovered, and 1 death, and currently has 1 active case.
Buffalo’s outdoor pool was closed last week because of the case, and will remain closed until further notice.
