Golden Hour Wagon Tours at Fort Phil Kearny

Tickets are now on sale for the Golden Hour Covered Wagon Tours at Fort Phil Kearny. This is an opportunity to take a step back in time and explore Fort Phil Kearny from the seat of a covered wagon as the guides bring history to life!

Tours will be held twice a day for four days in July, the 12, 14, 26, & 27 one tour at at 6:30 p.m. and the second at 7:30 p.m.

Ashlee Kintzler talked about her Moon Hitch Wagon Company and the Fort Phil Kearny covered wagon tours.

She said that every tour is very intimate, “We limit our guest number to 10 people per tour.”

She talked about the route the tour would take around the area near the fort.

Space is limited and tickets must be purchased ahead of time.

Ashlee talked about her Moon Hitch Wagon Tours that are held in Buffalo during the summer.

She added this about the Fort Phil Kearny tours. “What makes these tours special is that they’re not just about learning history—they’re about experiencing it. Guests are given exclusive guided access to the Fort Phil Kearny landscape in a way that has never been offered before: from the seat of an authentic covered wagon. Our goal is to immerse visitors in the sights, stories, and realities of 19th-century frontier travel, helping them connect with this place in a way that compliments their learning from our books and exhibits.”
