WYDOT Buffalo Main Street Project Latest Update for April 21

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has given the latest update on the Buffalo Main Street Project for the week of April 21.
Motorists are asked to watch for lane closures and flagging operations between Angus and Trail Streets.
Isolated concrete work will continue between Fetterman and Hart Streets, including sidewalk repairs, ADA upgrades, and the island in front of the Occidental and City Hall.
Full depth reclamation (milling) of Main Street from Hart to Angus Streets begins this week. Expect to travel on unimproved surfaces until paving begins in early May, weather permitting.
The traffic lights at Fort Street will continue to flash red for the duration of the project. Watch for flagging operations with head-to-head traffic at the intersection during the day, and the flashing red light at night with head-to-head traffic.
The turning radius at the intersection will be tight and motorists are asked to proceed through the intersection with caution.
Utility work will be moving up Main Street to Hart Street with traffic running head-to-head on the east side of Main Street in that area.
Driveways and approaches along Main Street will closed for a limited time during paving prep and asphalt replacement.
Work to upgrade the traffic signals at Hart Street will begin next week (April 28)and motorists should be prepared for lane closures, 3-way stop sign, and flagging operations at that intersection.
Residents and businesses along Main Street will be notified 48 hours in advance prior to any water shut-downs.
No side street parking will be available throughout the project area.
