JCSD1 Board Adopts FY2026 Budget

The Johnson County School Board has adopted their budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year.

After a presentation on the proposed budget by District Business Manager Connie Gay, the board voted to accept the budget for the coming year.

She gave the total appropriation for the year.

According to the Budget Resolution, Appropriations include a General Fund of $27.3 million; Special Revenue Fund of $2 million; Major Maintenance at $3 million; BOCHES at $250,000; Capital Projects at $4.9 million; Depreciation (Special Purpose) of $500,000; Debt Service at $85,000; Nutrition Services at $875,000; Teacherage at $75,000; Internal Service at $150,000; and Student Activities at $500,000 for a total of $39.8 million.
