SOS Gray Applauds Court Ruling to Block CTA

A recent court ruling ensures that millions of businesses in the U.S. will not have to comply with a federal deadline of January 1, 2025 to file beneficial ownership information reports with the Department of the Treasury. Secretary of State Chuck Gray said the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals order vacating the stay on a nationwide injunction enjoining the United States Government from enforcing the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) and its Implementing Regulations is a huge victory for businesses throughout Wyoming.

The recent order once again blocks the enforcement of the CTA and its associated reporting requirements that would have impacted over 32 million small businesses nationwide.
