The chief executive officer of the Wyoming Business Council says that they are taking a look at the mid to long term effects the COVID-19 pandemic will have on business development in Wyoming. Speaking at Governor Gordon’s most recent COVID-19 news conference, Business Council CEO Josh Dorrell said that they’ve been working with the business and financial sector task force, which is one of the five task forces announced by the governor last month in response to the pandemic.

Dorrell said that the Small Business Administration, or SBA,  currently has an Economic Injury Disaster Loan and a Payroll Protection program available for businesses affected by COVID-19. Dorrell also encouraged business owners to work with their local banks and local small business associations.
