High school seniors in Johnson County can apply through the end of April for three scholarships to be given out by the county commissioners.

Each county in Wyoming can award three scholarships to high school graduates that will be attending either the University of Wyoming or a Wyoming Community College.

The scholarships are set at $500 per semester for one year, and recipients are eligible for a renewal scholarship the following year.

Applications are available through the high school counseling offices or on the county website, and we have provided a copy and a link with this story at sheridanmedia.com.

Applications due by 5 p.m. on April 26, 2024.

Applicants can mail or hand deliver completed applications, transcripts, and essays to: Johnson County Board of Commissioners, Attention: Jody Telkamp at 76 N Main in Buffalo.

Questions can be directed to the Johnson County Commissioners Office at 684-7555.
