Ron RichterKinnison Hall at Sheridan College will be the site for an upcoming recital by two renowned regional artists. According to information from Sheridan College, Dr. Brooks Hafey, piano, and Dr. Sonja Kraus, cello, will perform together at 7 pm on Thursday, March 14 in Kinnison Hall in an event that is free and open to the public.
Hafey has performed as a solo pianist in a wide range of venues in the United States, including Carnegie Hall in New York City – as well as overseas performances in France, Italy, and Norway. In addition to his solo performances, Hafey is an active chamber musician, collaborative artist, and conductor.
Kraus, a native of Germany, is an internationally acclaimed cellist, instructor, and music scholar whose performances and studies have taken her across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the United States. Throughout her travels, she has performed in several music festivals around the world, and she has received several awards and honors for her talent.
