A Look Back in Time: Feb. 24, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 24, 1920.

The mines of northern Wyoming produced nearly 3 million tons of coal in 15 months from Oct. 1, 1918, to Dec. 31, 1919, according to the report of R. V. Hotchkiss, state mine inspector for the district.

Mina Taylor dresses for women are priced from $1.95 to $4.50 at Stevens, Fryberger & Co., Sheridan’s New York Store.

A very pretty wedding took place yesterday afternoon at the Baptist parsonage when Miss May Wood and Mr. Loren C. Cole were united in marriage. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Wood of Big Horn.
