Ron RichterThe bid award recommendation for the latest project phase at Black Tooth Park in Sheridan was an item of discussion at this week’s Sheridan City Council study session. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The third phase of the Black Tooth Park project is construction of restrooms and a maintenance shop. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer describes the details of the project.
Mercer said the City received three bids and staff is recommending the City Council award the bid to In-Yarak Construction in the amount of $743,950. He said Black Tooth Park has been a long-going project.
Mercer said the project is funded by GPET and Public Benefit funds along with a Land Water Conservation grant in the amount of $500,000. The City Council is expected to consider awarding the bid at an upcoming regularly scheduled business meeting.
