Longmire Foundation Contributes to Charitable Organizations
The Longmire Foundation has announced the beneficiaries of funds from Longmire Days 2022.
According to a release from the foundation, these beneficiaries are all worthy organizations that do solid work on behalf of the communities they serve.
Puppies Behind Bars will benefit from a $30,000 donation from Longmire Days 2022.
Their program provides opportunities for incarcerated individuals by training them to train puppies for service programs. Each puppy is trained by their individual for 12 to 24 months.
Among the programs the puppies are trained for are service dogs for veterans and first responders, comfort dogs for police departments, and explosive detection canines.
Friends Feeding Friends of Johnson County has received a $10,000 donation from Longmire Days 2022.
They serve the families of Johnson County, and their mission becomes more vital every day.
The Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends organization endeavors to fund and distribute nourishing food to Johnson County children who might otherwise go hungry.
Buffalo Night Rodeo has been awarded a $5,000 sponsorship from the Longmire Days 2022.
Rodeo is a way of life for western ranch families, and the foundation is grateful to be able to contribute to the ongoing success of this organization as they help to lead the next generation of ranchers and rodeo.
