Cody Woman Enters Plea to Endangering Children Charge

Ron RichterA 37-year-old Cody woman was arraigned in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan Thursday. Nicole Goswick entered a plea of “not guilty” to the charge of Felony Endangering Children. Goswick was arrested and charged with the crime on February 5th in Sheridan County for allegedly having methamphetamine in her purse while in a vehicle with a child present.
District Court Judge John Fenn scheduled the jury trial for August 9 and set the pretrial conference for July 15 at 9 am. Judge Fenn continued Goswick’s bond under the same terms and conditions that were previously set in Circuit Court. Felony Endangering Children is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.
