Sheridan Commission OK’s Substitution of Special Counsel
Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved the substitution of a Special Counsel representing Eda Schunk Thompson in her capacity of Sheridan County Clerk.
During the regular commission meeting Tuesday, County Deputy Attorney Clint Beaver explained why the substitution is necessary.
According to information provided by the commission, Virgil Kinnaird has withdrawn his representation of Shunk-Thompson in her dispute with the commission involving the assignment of statutory duties within the county government.
The commission approved the substitution of Michael J. Lansing and Mikole Bede Soto of Chapman Valdez & Lansing as special counsel for Schunk-Thompson.
