On Sept. 16, the Wolf Creek Wrangle will return to the adventurous trails of the historic Eaton’s Ranch, when runners answer the challenge to run or hike in a 5-mile, 7-mile, half marathon or for the distance runner, a 30K.
The Wolf Creek Wrangle is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns with 100% of the proceeds going to help the efforts of building homes for local Sheridan families.
It is also the only run given the opportunity to take place at the renowned Eaton’s Ranch, giving runners and hikers a unique chance to challenge their skill with typical and not so typical trail running obstacles.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns Executive Director Christine Dieterich told listeners this is her favorite race because this run is a challenge for every level of runner and provides rarely seen scenic views for walkers.
Dietrich told listeners that she recorded a video containing some of the scenery of the area, to show the public how adventurous the run can become.
Registration is currently open with a runner limit of 150. To sign up or learn more, click here.
