Celebrate the Arts in Sheridan continues on Aug. 25, when the WYO Performing Arts and Education celebrates 100 years of performances, arts and education in Sheridan.
The WYO Performing Arts & Education Center will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the original Lotus Theater – now known throughout the Cowboy State as the WYO – with a performance by the WYO’s New Vaudevillians at 7 p.m. Friday Aug. 25.
While speaking on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Director of External Relations from the Ucross Foundation and WYO board member, Caitlin Addlesperger, told listeners about the grand spectacle that was the opening of the Lotus Theater 100 years ago.
Adding to the grandeur, the evening will include free giveaways and a walking history of the Lotus/WYO with an opportunity to learn more about the WYO Theater and what’s in store for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.
The WYO Performing Arts & Education Center is inviting the public to take a step back in time and join the celebration with the WYO’s New Vaudevillians and the WYO/Lotus 100-year Anniversary performance on Aug. 25.
