Aaron PalmerJohnson County’s Republican Central Committee considered five applicants interested in taking the county clerk position, which has been vacated by Kate Harriet, who won the election for the position and was scheduled to take the position in January, but has since withdrawn from the position.
The five applicants; Jody Telkamp, Shann Edwards, Isabella DeWald, Jackie Camino, and Darcy Goni were interviewed and three were selected by vote to move forward to the next step in the process.
Telkamp, Goni, and Camino will now go through another interview process with the county commissioners Tuesday, December 6 at 1 p.m. in the courthouse, where one of the candidates will be selected by the commissioners to take the position.
