Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 12, 1920.

The state board of equalization has authorized assessment of all property in the city of Sheridan at the “full and true value” as provided by law. The action simplifies the financing of the city.

One million bricks will be used in construction of the new Central school. Stakes for the building were driven in the ground yesterday, and the Sheridan Press Brick and Tile company is at work getting out the brick.

A second meeting for the organization of the second troop of cavalry will be held in the Council Chambers of Sheridan’s city hall at 8 o’clock tonight.

A 3-pound can of Breakfast Delight Coffee will be $1.57 tomorrow and Saturday at the Star Grocery.
