Sheridan WYO Rodeo Tailgate and Cowboy Polo Games Canceled Due To Extreme Heat

Due to the possibility of record breaking heat, the 2026 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Tailgate and Cowboy Polo Games scheduled for Sunday, July 12th 2026 at the Big Horn Equestrian Center have been canceled.

There’s not enough shade and/or protection from the heat in the area and the National Weather Service Office in Billings, MT says the all-time high temperature for the Sheridan area is expected to be challenged (107 F).
