Morning Sports: August 21, 2025

The Sheridan High School Football team is putting together their plan of attack for this upcoming season.

Last year the Broncs had the best defense in the state in all classes against the run and had the 2nd best overall offense in Class 4A.

Part of that credit goes to play-calling and putting together a playbook, which head coach Jeff Mowry says the latter is in development.

The season starts one week from tomorrow at Cheyenne South.

Sheridan’s home opener is the following week against Thunder Basin.

Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies won last night at home against the LA Dodgers 8-3.

The Rocks will try to make it 3 out of 4, as the 2 teams close out the series today starting at 1:10pm.

After that, Colorado will start a 6-game road trip tomorrow, with 3 games at Pittsburgh, followed by 3 games at Houston.
