Sheridan HS Volleyball: The Sheridan High School Volleyball team had a successful weekend as the team won at home vs. Thunder Basin and at Campbell County.

Things did not go as well when the Lady Broncs played both teams 1 month ago.

Senior Mesa Hanft says when the team is clicking, the points come easily, but the trick is staying consistent.

Sheridan is scheduled to conclude the regular season this coming Friday at home vs. undefeated and 2-time defending state champ Kelly Walsh.

Aubrey Kelty Of Tongue River Volleyball Records 1,500 Assists: Some players are better at digging, some players are better at killing the ball, and there are those in the middle that help set up the big play.

This past weekend, Aubrey Kelty of Tongue River reached a milestone as she recorded her 15-hundredth assist.

The junior says she got into the role when she was a libero player at age 12, and explains how she decides in which direction the assist is going to go in.

TR concludes the regular season this week with games on Friday at Douglas and on Saturday at Newcastle.

University of Wyoming Football: The offense for the Wyoming Cowboys showed up last week and the Mountain West Conference took notice.

Quarterback Tyler Hughes was recently named the conference offensive player of the week.

In the win against Northern Illinois, he rushed for a career-high 183 yards, while adding 196 yards through the air, completing 16-of-19 passes.

The senior rushed for four touchdowns, and the 183 yards on the ground was the most by a Cowboy QB since 2021 & 14th-most by a MW QB in league history.

The Cowboys are scheduled to play this coming Friday at home vs. Air Force.

Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche lost last night at Philadelphia 3-2.

The Avs are back in action today at New Jersey.

The puck drops at 5pm.

Major League Baseball Playoffs: The 2026 World Series is now set.

Tampa Bay won last night at home vs. Cleveland 7-3 to win the American League Championship Series 4-games to 2.

History will be made this year, because both the Rays and the Milwaukee Brewers have never won the World Series.

TB made it this far 2 previous times in 2008 and 2020, while the Brewers’ only World Series appearance was back in 1982.

Game 1 is scheduled for this coming Friday at Milwaukee.
