Sheridan HS Football: The Sheridan High School football team spotted Laramie an early 14-zip lead, and they needed some sort of spark to snap out of it.
It didn’t take long as the Broncs returned the Plainsmen kickoff for a score, and ran a punt back a few minutes later to tie up the game.
Head Coach Jeff Mowry says the coaching staff was nervous when the team was down 2 scores, and something needed to happen soon.
Once it did, the momentum kept building and things started to click again.
Sheridan is at home again this coming Friday against Cheyenne East.
Tongue River HS Volleyball: Tongue River has put together a record of 15-7-1 in their first year as a 3A program.
The Lady Eagles are currently in 3rd place in the East and still have yet to play the 2 teams ahead of them in the standings.
Those teams being Wheatland and Douglas.
TR Head Coach Kristen Masters says the players have had fun at the next level and many opponents are pleased to see that the new team on the block is doing so well.
Tongue River is next scheduled to play this Friday at Wheatland.
