Six pm today is going to be a very busy time for Sheridan County High School Athletics.

There are 5 things going on at the exact same time.

Sheridan HS Football: Sheridan hosts Cheyenne East in the 4A semi-finals.

The 2 teams played almost 1 month ago, and the Broncs jumped out to a 31-10 lead, then let the opposition off the hook and settled for a 31-24 final score.

Sheridan Head Coach Jeff Mowry says between the last matchup and now, the team has been studying a lot of film on the opposition and not just last week’s game.

This is the 19th year in a row that the Broncs are playing in the semi-finals.

You can watch the game LIVE on Sheridan Media TV, which is on the front page of sheridanmedia.com.

You can also watch on the Sheridan Media Facebook and Youtube pages.

Shane and Ryan Parker will have the radio play by play call on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

Big Horn HS Football: For the second year in a row, Big Horn hosts Thermopolis in a 2A semi-final game.

Last year the Rams won this game easily, but that was due to the fact that the Bobcats committed a number of uncharacteristic turnovers.

Although Thermop is last in 2A in passing offense, BH Head Coach Kirk McLaughlin says the opposition will play to their strengths which is their defense, a strong running game and hogging the ball.

As mentioned earlier, kickoff is scheduled for 6pm.

Sheridan County HS Volleyball: At the State Volleyball Tournament in Casper, all 3 Sheridan County High School teams were victorious in their first round matchups yesterday and all play at 6pm today.

In Class 4A, Sheridan dropped the first 2 sets, then recovered to reverse sweep Green River 3-2.

The Lady Broncs go up against Kelly Walsh in today’s semi-finals.

The other side of the bracket has Cody taking on Thunder Basin.

In Class 3A, Tongue River defeated Worland 3-1, and have a semi-final matchup today vs. Powell.

The other semi is between Lovell and Mountain View.

In Class 2A, Big Horn swept Rocky Mountain and will face Greybull in the semi’s.
