Sheridan HS Football: When your team wins 4 consecutive football state championships and 43 games in a row, every team on the schedule is coming after you.
The Broncs haven’t lost since 2021, and if you remember last year’s schedule, it’s the same schedule this year, expect home games are away and vice-versa.
Head Coach Jeff Mowry gives his thoughts on what the 4A competition in general will look like this year.
Sheridan plays the 4-home, 5-away schedule this year.
The first game is 2 weeks from today at Cheyenne South.
Sheridan/Buffalo HS Golf:b Sheridan and Buffalo are both competing at the 2-day Powell Invitational.
Today is the 2nd day of that competition.
Both teams will have a quick turn-around as Sheridan will play again on Monday and Tuesday at Casper, while Buffalo will play the same 2 days, at Lander.
Sheridan HS Tennis: Sheridan will start competition tomorrow at a 1-day jamboree at Casper.
The Broncs and Lady Broncs will play their home opener this coming Tuesday in a dual vs. Laramie.
All Other Fall Sports Start Practice: Practice starts on Monday.
This includes football at Big Horn, Tongue River, Buffalo and Kaycee, as well as all classes of volleyball, cross country and girls swimming.
Competition for those sports can start as early as Thursday, August 28th.
Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies lost the first game of a 4-game series at home vs. Arizona yesterday 8-2.
Kyle Farmer and Brenton Doyle each hit solo home runs for the Rocks, but it was not nearly enough.
The 2 teams will play each other again today starting at 6:40pm.
Tomorrow’s game begins at 6:10pm and Sunday’s game at 1:10pm.
Denver Broncos Pre-Season Football: The Denver Broncos will play their lone pre-season home game tomorrow vs. Arizona.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm and you can hear that game LIVE on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.
After that, Denver has 1 more pre-season game, which will be played 1 week from tomorrow at New Orleans.
