Sheridan College Rodeo Teams showcased their talents once again at the Lamar Community College Rodeo, held in Lamar, Colo., from October 18–20.
Several team members secured strong placements, continuing to push the college forward in the Central Rocky Mountain Region standings.
On the Men’s Team, Colter Martin had an impressive showing in Saddle Bronc Riding, tying for sixth place in the long go with a score of 75 points.
Martin followed up with a third place finish in the short go, scoring 78 points, which earned him fifth place in the average with a total of 153 points.
In Team Roping, the duo of Taylor McGregor and Colter Martin placed fifth in the long go with a time of 9.5 seconds.
This time was also fast enough to place them fifth in the average for the weekend.
In the regional standings, Jake Schlattman currently holds third place in Saddle Bronc, while Colter Martin has moved up to tenth in the same event.
In Bull Riding, Aidan Ruby sits in fifth, and Maci DeHaan is seventh in Barrel Racing.
This rodeo concludes the 2024 Fall season.
Sheridan College Rodeo Teams will continue their season with determination as they prepare for the next regional competition in the Spring of 2025.
The Spring Schedule will kick off at Gillette College in Gillette, Wyo., from March 14–16.
