Addie Pendergast Of Sheridan Sets 2 New Overall State Records In Track And Field: For only the second time in school history, the Sheridan Girls Track and Field team won the 4A State Championship.

The only other time was back in 1983.

The Lady Broncs scored 112 points to win by 29.

About 36 of those 112 points came courtesy of a Stanford-bound senior.

This past Saturday, Addie Pendergast broke her own overall state record in the 400 meter dash, set a new overall state record in the 300 meter hurdles, placed 2nd in the 100 meter dash, and was part of Sheridan’s 4 by 400 meter relay team, which finished in 2nd.

She says she wasn’t focused on breaking the records, because her day was busy enough as it was.

Pendergast was also a part of the Sheridan Girls Basketball State Championship team and she will play a little more basketball before she heads to college.

She will play for the Wyoming All-Stars in their 2-game series vs. Montana next month.
