One more Market at the Museum this summer
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Market at the Museum was in the works for two years, according to Museum at the Bighorns Executive Director Mikalya Larrow.
But once the museum was able to get the vendors and execute the plan, the Market at the Museum experienced a fruitful inaugural year.
The market features local artisan and crafters from the Sheridan Region. Woodworkers and painters, pot makers and photographers gather on the museum’s large deck to sell their wares and talk about their craft on the first Saturday of each month from June to September.
While speaking on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Larrow told listeners that her favorite part was seeing just what each vendor brought to sell month to month.
The last Market at the Museum for the summer season will be on Sept. 4 beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 1 p.m.
