Johnson County OKs ‘Blanket’ Resolution for County Attorney

John County Attorney Tucker Ruby brought a request before the county commission asking for a “blanket” resolution for his office to hire special prosecutors in certain cases his office handles.

Ruby explained why he feels that it is necessary.

Ruby said his office has performed special prosecutor duties for other counties and vice-versa, and this Resolution would just “fast-track” the process of hiring one when needed.

The commission voted to approve the Resolution.
