A tour of five community halls in Sheridan and Johnson Counties will be offered by the Alliance for Historic Wyoming (AHW) on Saturday, July 31st.
According to a release from the AHW the tour will include presentations on the history and architecture of each hall, and their role in community cohesion and celebration.
The tour will begin in Dayton at 9 a.m. at the Dayton Community Hall with coffee and donuts, and an introduction to community halls in Wyoming.
From there it will proceed to halls in Big Horn, Banner, and Story, where lunch will be provided by the Story Woman’s Club.
The final stop will be Kearney Hall, which has been recently renovated. Participants will receive a tour guide and map at the start of the tour.
Tickets are $35 for AHW members and $40 for non-members, and the deadline to register is July 22nd.
