JCHC Marketing Plan Discussed With Board

The 2021 Marketing Plan for the Johnson County Healthcare Center was presented to the Hospital Board of Trustees during their most recent meeting.
Jennifer Burden, Marketing Director for the facility, discussed the plan with the board, saying the areas to focus on became clear after discussing the matter with staff at the facility.
Burden said they will be implementing a redesign of the website, to capture the attention of users and make it easier to navigate the site and find information on services and the facility, make it easy for patients to make appointments, pay their bill, and to give information on upcoming events.
E-mail and direct mail will be an area of focus for educational information for patients; as well as improved customer service, diversification of advertising outlets; sponsorships within the community; and improved community partnerships; and to highlight services offered by the healthcare center.
Board member Tom Holt said the plan was ambitious and asked about the budget for marketing.
CEO Sean McCallister said the proposed budget, which will be presented this month to the board, has been increased based on the plan.
