Cheney: ‘Our Freedom Only Survives If We Protect It’
Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney spoke Tuesday evening on the House floor about freedom and the constitutional duty for elected officials to protect it. Representative Cheney said today we face a threat America has never seen before.
Cheney said she is a conservative Republican and the most conservative of conservative principles is reverence for the rule of law.
Congresswoman Cheney said those that refuse to accept the rulings of the courts are at war with the Constitution.
House Republicans are expected to vote Wednesday to remove Cheney from her leadership role as House Republican conference chair. Representative Cheney was one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump in the weeks following the attack on the Capitol on January 6. Cheney has also refuted Trump’s claims that the presidential election was stolen from him.

Sadly I think you fit into today’s trump worship party, what used to be the party of Lincoln. I am afraid of the future, if American loses it’s Republican party of Conservative, truth speaking members and becomes the party of trump. What has happened, to the “Republican” party I have been a member/voter for over 50 years. This truly is a “turning Point” for the future of this Great Country.

Rep. Cheney: FYI, we don’t have a democracy, but a constitutional republic — one in which we elect people to represent our views, interests, needs, and beliefs in the political body they are elected to. In this regard, it’s hard to believe you don’t want to understand that your newly-found Democrat-friendly talking points and propaganda don’t sit well with many, many, many Republicans here. Wyoming voted overwhelmingly for President Trump last year, but you’ve chosen to conduct your own brand of holy war against him. So, by all means, keep fist bumping with Joe Biden and keep appearing on leftwing media platforms. You may not even be considering running for re-election here. I hope you don’t because you’ve already ruined any credibility you may have once had with a very large number of Wyoming Republicans. But, by all means, keep running your mouth. That will just continue to infuriate more and more people and cause them to seek alternative candidates.

I find it hard to believe that people can watch LIVE VIDEOS and then say there is no proof. A LIVE VIDEO is like a ZOOM call; do you doubt that the people that you talk to over ZOOM are real? What about a telephone, are the people you talk to on the telephone real people, talking in real time? What do you consider proof? Saying something is lie over and over does not make it a lie, it just makes saying that it is lie repetitious.

Sorry I do not know what videos you are referring to but I think we all know a video can have any content the maker wants to present, so No I do not trust videos. As to proof I should think that would be obvious but to explain, Proof to me would be election boards questioning their results, governmental investigations showing cheating, lawsuits by the loser not being thrown out of court, to name just a few sources, I would believe. But the afore named sources have been checked, forward and backward with NO PROOF of any cheating. That is Proof, not a made up video…

Now show me proof, good solid facts from investigative entities like courts, election boards, FBI, attorney general,etc. Not internet videos, Qnon or the terrorists who were incited by trump to invade the capitol, Facts Facts Facts, Then I will gladly change my point of view.
No credible source has come forward with SOLID FACTS. That said, maybe it is your point of view that is jaded.

Don’t be too surprised if Cheney switches parties and ends up on the ticket as a democrat in 2024. People have a very short memory, particularly if the marketing is targeted and persistent. If she cozies up with the left of the democrat party, the party bosses could easily shove her to the front to grab republican votes for those naïve enough to think she is really just speaking her conscience, and thereby guarantee a win. Biden was right about one thing (with a slight edit): the battle (including the election) is for the soul of the country. America first is a good thing and needs to be a priority. Globalization is NOT a good thing beyond trade between countries.

I really don’t care how she voted on Trumps impeachment but if the uproar over her vote returns her back to a life of war profiteering in the private sector I couldn’t be happier. As far as I’m concerned her and her neocon comrades are a bigger threat to freedom than Trump could ever be.
