Sheridan College student art sale starts Wednesday

Sheridan College art students will host their annual student art sale starting Wednesday in the Whitney Academic Center Atrium.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Wednesday and Thursday. The event is open to the public.

Featured art will include ceramics, prints, drawings, paintings and sculptures. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the sales goes to the Sheridan College Art Club.

Rod Dugal, who’s an art instructor at the college, said the student art sale provides a great opportunity for people to see student art, show support for the program and get their spring shopping done with hand-crafted gifts.
