The Johnson County Commission, at their meeting Tuesday, set a date for a public meeting concerning the parking area on Hazelton Road.
Commission Chair Bill Novotny said at an earlier meeting that the process is beginning to renew the county’s special use permit for the parking area, and he wants to allow the public to comment in the matter.
The tentative date for the public meeting is Tuesday, May 4th at 7pm at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.
The commission will be advertising the meeting and notifying landowners in the area in the coming days.
