The Arts at Sheridan College will present a concert by the college Trombone Choir, Concert Brass Ensemble and Chamber Winds starting at 4 p.m. Sunday in Kinnison Hall at Whitney Center for the Arts.
The event is open free to the public, but in-person and live streaming tickets are required in advance.
Directed by Dr. Eric Richards, who is Sheridan College director of bands and jazz studies, the performance will feature a wide array of music. The SC Trombone Choir will perform Suite in Four Movements, which is based on a set of Renaissance dances, and works by the Concert Brass Ensemble will range from a piece by Johann Strauss to a ragtime by Scott Joplin.
The SC Chamber Winds will perform “March of the Belgian Paratroopers,” among others.
