Former Councilors Say Their Goodbyes

Two Sheridan City Councilors said their goodbyes at Monday night’s Council meeting, as Patrick Henderson and Thayer Shafer addressed their constituents and colleagues one last time. Henderson spoke first, saying it has been an honor to serve on the Council.

Shafer echoed Henderson’s words and offered some advice for the three new councilors.

Shafer was a member of the City Council for six years, while Henderson was appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Council in 2017.
