Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 29, 1920.

Mrs. Mabel Miller has received a Victory Medal from the war department, an award for her son, Floyd Miller, who was killed on the Mexican border in 1919.

Several people from the Acme mining community were in Sheridan last night to heard the address by Judge Charles E. Winter of Casper at the Republican mass meeting.

Miss Thelma Purdee of the Enterprise is visiting her mother near Clearmont today.

The Freshmen of Sheridan High School have issued invitations for a Halloween masque party to be given at the Linden gymnasium Friday night. The senior class and members of the high school faculty will be the honor guests.
