Volunteer at The Brinton Museum
The Brinton Museum Curatorial Assistant Kristy Bruce made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse informing the public of volunteering opportunities available at the museum.
These opportunities provide a volunteer experience both indoors surrounded by art and history in the Forrest E. Mars, Jr. Building or outdoors on the well maintained grounds of The Historic Quarter Circle A Ranch.

According to the Mayo Clinic, volunteering time with organizations provides major benefits. One, it improves physical and mental health. Research has found that volunteering among adults, age 60 and over, provided benefits to physical and mental health.
Volunteering also provides a sense of purpose and teaches valuable skills. The work that volunteers provide is essential to everyday activities, giving volunteers a sense of purpose, especially when giving their time and talent in the areas they find meaningful.
