Borgialli to Run for Johnson County Treasurer
Brittnee Borgialli has announced that she will be running for Johnson County Treasurer.
In a release, she said, “After a lot of thought, prayer, and the encouragement of my family, friends, and community, I am proud to officially announce my candidacy for Johnson County Treasurer.”
“Johnson County isn’t just where I live — it’s home. As a third-generation Johnson County resident, I care deeply about our community and the people who make it special.”
For more than 11 years, she has served in the Johnson County Treasurer’s Office, working every day to help residents with vehicle registrations, property tax collections, and the many responsibilities that keep the office running smoothly. Through this experience, she has gained the knowledge, professionalism, and dedication needed to continue serving the county its Treasurer.
She said, “I believe this office is about more than numbers and paperwork. It’s about being dependable, treating people fairly and respectfully, providing efficient and professional service, and being accountable to the people of Johnson County.
Her experience and leadership background includes being Deputy Treasurer since January of 2020; being a graduate of two National Association of County Officers Leadership Classes; being a graduate of Johnson County Leadership Class 5; Public Officer Training through the Department of Audit, being a committeewoman for Precinct 3-2; and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership & Management with an emphasis in Business (Graduating in May of 2027).
She has been involved in Buffalo FFA Alumni & Supporters, Johnson County CattleWomen, local events, and grew up in Johnson County.
She said, “I was raised by parents who taught me the value of hard work, honesty, and showing up for your community. Values I carry with me every single day. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve already received, and I look forward to meeting with more of you in the months ahead, listening to your concerns, and earning your trust, support, and vote on Election Day.”
