Rancher’s Night Out May 7

Published

on

Sheridan County Conservation District Manager Carrie Rogaczewski and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service District Conservationist Andrew Cassiday have alerted Sheridan Media to another Rancher’s Night Out event.

Rancher’s Night Out events are a non-formal opportunity for the Sheridan County Conservation District and other stakeholders to learn about the priorities of producers, landowners, conservationists, and those working locally in the agricultural industry.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Rogaczewski said these events have been well attended and give farmers and producers opportunities to share concerns and find both fellowship and solutions together. The event also provides updates on issues facing the agricultural community, such as the work being done to combat invasive grasses.

Organized by the Working Lands Collaborative, the upcoming Rancher’s Night Out will begin at 5:30 p.m., Thursday May 7 at the Tongue River Brewing Company in Ranchester. The event is open to the public but organizers do ask for a preregistration to ensure a proper head count for the pizza that will be provided.

RSVP by finding a link on the Sheridan County Conservation District website, here.
