SCLT Discovery Session: Trail Running Mechanics

The Sheridan Community Land Trust is offering a Discovery Training Session with Dr. Brandon Kelley, D.C., owner of Sheridan Spine & Sports Medicine, for a run along the scenic Hidden Hoot Trail. 

Kelley will give instruction on the basics of running technique, form, nutrition, hydration and recovery as part of a group run. 

The session will begin with a meeting at Black Tooth Park at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 15. A second session will be conducted at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, also starting with a meeting at the park .

Beginner and intermediate runners are encouraged to join but all skill levels are welcome to attend and run at their own pace. 

Black Tooth Park can be reached by following 5th Street to the west edge of Sheridan. Clinic will start at 6 p.m. Runners are asked to bring adequate footwear and water.
