Sheridan Commission Changes Hire from Clerk 3 to Clerk 1

Sheridan County’s Commissioners voted to change the designation of a recent hire in the County Clerk’s Office from a Clerk 3 position down to a Clerk 1 position.

County Human Resources Director Kenny Custis asked for clarification on the commission’s wishes in the matter.

The commission voted to follow the county’s policy to hire at a level one and then move the employee up as they gain experience.
