Sheridan Commission Denies Vacation in Downer Addition

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered a petition for a vacation of property in the Downer Addition.

The property is a platted 50-foot wide public right-of-way known as 14^th Street between Block 51 and 52 adjacent to Lots 10 and 11 of Block 51 and Lots 1 and 12 of Block 52.

County Engineer Ken Muller had been appointed as the viewer in the matter and reported his recommendation to the commission on Tuesday.

The commission voted to accept the recommendation of the viewer and deny the petition for the vacation of the property.
