I wonder in the long run if another gambling facility will help Sheridan. I don’t believe it will add to the productivity and vibrancy of our community. I think we should look further into the future of Sheridan and think about how this will affect the community as a whole. We want an event center to bring in sporting events and concerts. This facility doesn’t seem to fit that vision . Restaurant or family facility would seem more fitting.

Jeanette, this will not create a new gambling facility. An existing facility is simply moving down the street.

Dusty, Wyoming Downs bought a B1 property where gambling is not allowed. Did they not do their due diligence when buying the property. Wyoming is a buyer beware state. Maybe Nevada doesn’t know that? It’s not fair to the neighbors who never thought their business would be near a gambling facility.
