Ron RichterCity of Sheridan officials received an update this week on Kendrick Pool. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
In the 2019 City of Sheridan Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update Community Survey – a survey taken by residents of the City of Sheridan – Kendrick Park Pool rated as one of the top priorities for investment for recreation facilities, as over 70 percent of the respondents to the survey reported they would like to see the pool renovated or rebuilt. Sheridan Recreation District Executive Director Alex Mock provided an update this week to the Sheridan City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger on the upcoming season at the pool.
Kendrick Pool was built in 1937 by Evelyn and Edward Moore and it has become a summer-time activity staple to the Sheridan community. Kendrick Pool will be open for the summer from June 1 through August 18.
