JCSD1 Sets Mills for Rec Board, BOCHES

During their recent meeting in Kaycee, the Johnson County School Board discussed and then voted to set the Mills for the County Recreation Board and for Board of Cooperative Higher Educational Services (BOCHES) for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

The board approved one mill for the Rec Board and a half-mill for BOCHES, although the amount of the mills will not be known until later this year.

Also approved by the board was the sale and/or disposal of items owned by the district valued at less than $500 and those valued over $500.

The items are those that have been in storage or have no use to the district any longer.

They will be sold at bargain prices, given away, or disposed of.
